Thank you for visiting our website.  We are currently living in the most unprecedented of times.  People are uncertain, anxious, and concerned. Others are self-isolating and adhering to social distancing, the nature and fabric of how we live and go about our daily lives is changing.
The Church, is an anchor point in the community of Blandford Forum & Langton Long.  We exist to remind people of the presence of God, to hold our community in prayer, to extend peace, to renew hope, and to reveal the love of God in Christ, through acts of service and kindness.
Currently, in accordance with Government guidelines and the instructions of the Archbishop of Canterbury, we are unable to offer public worship.  This means that our usual Sunday and midweek services aren’t able to take place in the usual way.  However, this doesn’t mean that the church is closed, rather we are changing how we work, worship and pray.  The Church like everyone else, is having to find new ways of being, loving and serving.
Blandford Parish Church, Langton Long Church and the Church's Office buildings have all been temporarily closed in accordance with Government guidelines.
As a church we remain committed to praying, serving and caring for the community of Blandford Forum & Langton Long in the days and weeks ahead.  If you are feeling concerned, anxious, lonely, isolated, unwell, vulnerable, in need of assistance or just want to connect with us, then we invite you to make contact via the dedicated email: or leave a message on the Church Office number: 01258 456260 – messages will be collected once a day.
For regular updates on how we as a Church are responding locally to COVID-19, and serving the community please visit our Facebook page: Blandford Parish Church.
Every blessing
Revd Canon Jonathan Triffitt
Rector, Blandford Forum & Langton Long
Welcome to Our Churches

Blandford Parish Church is the jewel in the crown of the beautiful Georgian Market Town of Blandford Forum.  As the Church in the Market Place, we seek to offer a space for worship that is Anglican in tradition yet relaxed in feel. In our worship we aim to hold the best of the past in terms of liturgy & hymns, whilst embracing new songs, and opportunities to offer worship that is relevant, engaging and meaningful for those who come.

All Saints is a beautiful 19th-century church in the small village of Langton Long near the River Stour, to the south of Blandford Forum. A church has been on this site for several centuries. We are a sister church to Blandford Forum Parish Church, in the same benefice. Visitors often comment on the warm atmosphere and welcoming congregation. Our worship is in traditional Anglican style, but we are open to new approaches and enjoy many of the more modern worship songs. All Saints members are keen supporters of the Community Kitchen and other church events organized with BFPC in Blandford. All Saints has its own midweek Home Group. We look forward to welcoming you!

Children: Our 10 am service is the most appropriate for children. There is a children’s corner and our children’s welcomers will be on hand to help you find what you need, toys, books, changing facilities etc. There is also a quiet room available should you need somewhere to go to feed your child or if you just need somewhere calm for a few minutes.
Worship: The service normally lasts approximately 60-75 mins. It includes prayer, readings from the Bible, a sermon and time spent singing a mix of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns.

Prayer Ministry: There is an opportunity for you to be prayed for following our 10.00am service by our Prayer Ministry Team. They will be in the Lady Chapel at the front right of the church.
Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are served at the end of the service. This is a great time to meet new people and find out more about the church.
