Thank you for visiting our website.
Good News! From Sunday 12th July, Blandford Parish Church will once again re-open her doors to offer our community a space for private and individual prayer. The church will initially be open Sundays from 9am – 11am.
At 9.15am there will be a Said Communion service, followed by a space for private and individual prayer. The building will close at 11am.
The Rector and other helpers will be available to assist those who come to pray and to ensure that we operate within the current Government guidelines. This will include the welcome team asking for your name and contact details. You will also be required to use hand sanitizer and maintain social distancing. It is mandatory from 8th August that face coverings are worn at all times when in places of worship. We recognise that this can feel quite clinical, however, we trust that those visiting will understand and respect these guidelines.
For the time being, our main expression of worship will continue to be offered online at 10am on Sundays via our Facebook Page click here to view live service. Don't worry if you don't have a Facebook account - you can just scroll down the page to videos and join us.
Welcome to Our Churches
Blandford Parish Church is the jewel in the crown of the beautiful Georgian Market Town of Blandford Forum. As the Church in the Market Place, we seek to offer a space for worship that is Anglican in tradition yet relaxed in feel. In our worship we aim to hold the best of the past in terms of liturgy & hymns, whilst embracing new songs, and opportunities to offer worship that is relevant, engaging and meaningful for those who come.
All Saints is a beautiful 19th-century church in the small village of Langton Long near the River Stour, to the south of Blandford Forum. A church has been on this site for several centuries. We are a sister church to Blandford Forum Parish Church, in the same benefice. Visitors often comment on the warm atmosphere and welcoming congregation. Our worship is in traditional Anglican style, but we are open to new approaches and enjoy many of the more modern worship songs. All Saints members are keen supporters of the Community Kitchen and other church events organized with BFPC in Blandford. All Saints has its own midweek Home Group. We look forward to welcoming you!
